December 29, 2023 /

Bruce Springsteen, a name that resonates with the heart and soul of rock and roll, graced the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, capturing a moment in music history. For fans and collectors, preserving this iconic cover through custom framing is not just about decoration; it’s a tribute to the legacy of ‘The Boss’. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how we custom framed this memorable piece, ensuring it remains a cherished part of your collection.

Music memorabilia like magazine covers, especially when they feature legends like Bruce Springsteen, are more than just paper and ink. They’re tangible pieces of music history that tell stories of cultural milestones. By custom framing your memorabilia magazine, you’re not only protecting it from damage but also creating a lasting tribute to the artist, the story or the persons on the cover time the magazine cover represents.

For those who prefer a professional touch, our custom frame shop offers expert services to ensure your magazine is preserved flawlessly.  We have a very special way of framing a magazine that ensures the magazine is framed intact without cutting it, or gluing it.  Our method preserves that magazine in whole at it’s original condition, so you can take it out of the frame just like it was put in.

Here is a video we made showing our process:

We added some creative aspects to this frame.  We mounted the magazine on  a denim mat, because The Boss is wearing jeans.  If you also notice we added “spacers” that look like the American Flag.  Looking closely, you can see the stripes on the spacer matches that width on the stripes on the magazine cover.  Adding spacers has two benefits.  One is esthetic, it makes the framing project looks very cool.  The second benefit is that it creates space between the glass and  the magazine which helps not get the magazine crushed.
